Happy Dr. Seuss week!
Today I’m sharing a super simple and (almost) mess free craft that kids LOVE!
Everyone who knows Dr. Seuss’ books is familiar with Thing 1 & Thing 2:
Their crazy blue hair and red jumpsuits were the inspiration for this craft. Here’s what you need:
- a salad spinner
- a circle cut out of white cardstock, that will fit inside your salad spinner basket
- red paint
- blue paint
Simply insert the cardstock circle inside the spinner. Glob in a bit of blue and red paint. Attach the lid and spin! That’s it! Super simple and the kids love spinning the top of the spinner.
Take a look at how ours turned out:
You could even take this craft one step further by having the kids draw numbers 1 & 2 on top once they’re dry.
These brightly coloured spinner pieces are proudly hanging in our house for the rest of Dr. Deuss week!
